Counselling for Couples

Couples Counselling

Sometimes, the best therapy work we can do is in a pair. It's far from unusual for couples to have difficulties, but if both of you want to make things work, then you have a good chance.

I offer counselling to all couples, but my speciality is mixed-neurotype couples. For example, if one of you is neurotypical and the other autistic, or one autistic and one ADHD, or any other combination, then I might be the right match for you. Many mixed-neurotype couples feel a lot of love for one another, but that doesn't make differing communication styles or expectations in relationships any easier. That's where I may be able to help you to become a more effective team.

Alternatively, you may have differing views about having children. If one of you is childfree or unsure, and the other wants to become a parent, then I am happy to help you navigate this.

I am happy to work with LGBTQ+ couples.

My training, which is mainly in transactional analysis, has couples work baked in. It can help you to understand what's happening between you as a pair, and what you might be able to do differently.

Session Details

I can meet couples at Orchard Street in the middle of Bristol city, or on Zoom. My fee is £90 per session, and my sessions are 1 hour and 15 minutes long.
