This is less of a therapeutic post like my other blog entries, and more of an announcement. Starting from May 2026 I'm starting to migrate over to Signal (download link for the app here).

My reason for this is to help you to protect your data. WhatsApp sells the data of the people who use it, while Signal doesn't.

I understand that Signal isn't anywhere near as popular, and that not everyone is worried about their data being sold. Therefore, I'm going to keep my WhatsApp account for a long while yet. If you'd like to contact me on WhatsApp then you can, but if you'd prefer us to talk on Signal, then you'll have that option.
